Set in a working soldier settler shearing shed ‘The Shearer’s Yarn’ tells the tale of the WA Wool Industry through the eyes of the industry’s greatest icon: The Shearer.
Take a walk though Western Australia’s shearing past, present and future, amd be treated to interactive displays, live storytelling and theatrical presentations by Bush Poet “Rosey” and “Bill the Shearer”.
The Shearer’s Yarn is home of the original play: “The Shearer’s Dilemma”, a uniquely Australian comedy performed by the Shearing Shed Theatre.
