The Visitor’s Centre

Situated 160 kilometres south of Perth on the Albany Highway, Williams is a small active town that has been a convenient stopping place for travellers since the 1850’s.

The first town on the busy highway south of Perth, Williams is a refreshing stopover for the travelling public.

Williams has grown to acknowledge its unqiue history and invites travellers to share it’s beautiful surrounding farmland and historical features.

The major industries in the area are farming and the growing of coarse grains, sheep/wool, cattle and a pelleting plant.

The population of the Williams District is approximately 1200 people.
